I know how demanding life can be. I know how easy it is to end up feeling tired, worn out or questioning what life is all about.

Do you feel you're never quite good enough, that you don't quite measure up? Do you wonder where God is in all of this? Do you have issues that are affecting your relationships: losses, fears, frustrations, anxiety, depression, challenges being single or married? Could your self-esteem use a boost?

Counseling is often necessary to uncover the hidden hurts, the unmet needs, and the repressed emotions, which are preventing us from getting to the truth, which will set us free. In many instances, there cannot be true healing and spiritual growth until the painful memories and unhealthy patterns are addressed.

These are some of the many issues we deal with during counseling. With the support of a therapist, it becomes easier to find your way through the challenges of daily life.

Don't wait another day - call today, 913.730.6778.

To begin, Diane will collect information about your personal history and the problem(s) you are dealing with. Most times she will give you assignments to help facilitate the change you desire.

These may consist of reading, journaling, observing and perhaps trying out new actions and/or behaviors, or other assignments helpful to your situation.

Among many tools and techniques, Diane uses the insights of brain science to help understand how emotions influence your life, and how you can lead a life that is not controlled by your emotions.

Diane will incorporate Christian principles, if you so desired. She recognizes for some people that, while believing in God, they have been scarred by religion and/or people that has resulted in a rupture in their relationship with God. Her emphasis is on healing the person and the relationship(s) and being sensitive to the pace at which you work together.
